The visual and fully customizable sales pipeline in monday.com allows you to process all leads structurally and even to make sales forecasts. Ultimately, however, monday.com primarily serves the organization of sales processes and the visualization of tasks; it brings few CRM-typical functions, such as the generation of leads, the creation of quotations or automated tracking of customers and prospects.
With Pulses, monday.com provides its users with an effective tool for communication within the application which seems to be based on Twitter. However, it is also possible in Pulses to provide other users with files of any format via drag and drop upload.
Every monday.com taskboard is highly customizable: contacts, editors, editing steps, projects – you can freely define all these components. You will learn to use the program immediately and intuitively and you can operate almost all elements by drag and drop. The user interface is simple, visually appealing and therefore largely self-explanatory.
Typical convenience functions of a classic CRM, such as the automatic evaluation of leads, the generation of offers and contracts, the making of calls directly from the application and their logging are completely missing here, however. Nevertheless, programs such as Google Drive, Excel or Dropbox can be easily integrated, so that you manage all customer communication and document exchange centrally.
Target Groups and Data Security
monday.com is suitable for companies from start-up to corporate size. Non-profit organizations and administrations should also feel addressed by the offer: For them, the provider adjusts his prices on request.
monday.com is certified to ISO/IEC 27001:2013 and ISO/IEC 27018:2014, which means the cloud service meets the strictest global data security standards. The service also complies with the requirements of the European Union's General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) of 2016.
Conditions and Service
You can upgrade, downgrade or cancel a package at any time. However, the rigidly specified package model does not allow an individual composition of feature packages.
Only in the Pro (or a higher) package the storage capacity is unlimited. The so-called VIP support with a personal customer advisor is reserved exclusively for users of the Enterprise tariff. However, it is pleasant that Basic customers already have a 24/7 service hotline and a live chat available. Webinars on the use of the program take place daily, guides and tutorials explain the range of functions.

Centralizing, visualizing and organizing all work processes of a company – this is monday.com's claim. Thus, it also covers numerous tasks of a classical CRM system, but users have to do without the typical convenience functions of a specialized system. However, if your sales processes are largely based on activities in project management, contact management and coordination, you should look at monday.com.
